Mauli, LMSW

Therapist | Trauma-Informed Care Specialist

I am Mauli Dave, LMSW, a Licensed Master Social Worker who understands that healing happens when we feel truly seen and understood for who we are. As a first-generation South Asian American, I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience to my work, recognizing how cultural identity, family dynamics, and life transitions intersect with our mental health. Through my clinical training, I've worked with diverse populations, from homeless youth to trauma survivors, caregivers, and older adults navigating complex life challenges.

My approach to therapy is rooted in trauma-informed care using evidence-based practices like Trauma-Focused, CBT, and mindfulness within a strength-based framework. I understand how life experiences, cultural differences, family dynamics, and social expectations can impact someone's willingness to seek help and the unique challenges of navigating competing pressures and feeling alone and lost along the way.

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, cultural identity challenges, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life's demands, I am here to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth. My clients include transition-age youth, trauma survivors, caregivers, older adults, and people feeling lost between cultural, familial, and social expectations. I believe that everyone carries incredible strength within them, and my role is to help you reconnect with that resilience while navigating whatever challenges you're facing. You deserve to feel understood, supported, and empowered to thrive authentically as your whole self.

Mauli Therapy Style

My style is warm, collaborative, and deeply trauma-informed. I use an integrative approach blending Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and culturally responsive practices within a strength-based framework. Whether were working through anxiety, depression, cultural identity concerns, or life transitions, my goal is to create a space where you feel truly seen, understood, and empowered to thrive as your whole self.

Therapy with me is a space where you can breathe, be seen, and be met exactly where you are. Life can feel unpredictable, heavy, and overwhelming. I am here to tell you that you don't have to figure it out alone anymore. I bring genuine understanding, deep empathy, and steady guidance to help you reconnect with your inherent resilience, one step at a time.
